When a young family decided they were staying in their downtown apartment indefinitely, they decided they were looking for some upgrades. Our team stepped in to help update the design of their entry, living room, kitchen, dining room, and primary bedroom. The entry called for a custom bench outfitted in a playful performance fabric, which provides ample shoe storage. The kitchen received a complete renovation, which produced minty-fresh millwork, chic quartzite countertops and a palpably French vibe. The dining/living space called for a custom storage credenza, shelves that wrapped around a corner and a cozy sectional for family movie night. A custom ottoman with the cutest button and ball feet most certainly added to the family-but-make-it-funky aesthetic. Lastly, the primary bedroom was re-painted head-to-toe in a stunning shade of blush. We added sculptural sconces, new nightstands, a fresh rug, and updated bedding — and voila: a sexy escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown living.
