When empty-nesters decided to upsize and modernize a traditional home in Greenwich, CT, we were game. In fact, like many of our clients, they insisted everything be extremely family-friendly, not for their own children, but for their grandchildren. In this project we partnered with both architect and contractor to strip away many dated and heavy architectural details to allow more light to flow through this elegant home. The clients loved a neutral palette, which we employed by engaging in the natural elements outdoors and adding warm layers that allowed for easy and happy summertime living.
