When a newly-engaged couple purchased their first home together, they enlisted us to bring their joint vision to life. The couple gravitated towards a layered, neutral palette, which we developed with an abundance of natural materials. We leaned into these materials to bring softness to the unit, which was laden with harsh angles. With the help of limewash in the main living and dining space, a curved oak credenza, a sumptuous living room rug, and a sheepskin lounge chair, the home became rife with tactile delight. In the minimal primary bedroom, a beautiful wallpaper became the focal point while an oversized pendant, inspired by their honeymoon to Japan, brought a bold geometry. In the second bedroom, used as a home office, a handsome pull-out sofa was outfitted in a chic stripe and placed between two sculptural sconces.
